Some random thoughts from a distracted mom to distract you.
Today we were waiting at a red light when I noticed a van a few vehicles ahead of us with the saying, "turning sinners into saints" on the back. I thought that was an interesting sentiment for a church van assuming that's what it was. Then I noticed above those words it said "please enjoy responsibly". Not exactly a church van after all. I just looked it up and turns out it's a local brewery.
The other day the girls were looking at my baby book. On the back of the little card they put in the bassinet with the baby's name and stats is an ad for ready made formula. It's sold by the quart, in nursing bottles and in 8 oz cans "for modern mothers who want convenience".
There was also a pamphlet from my pediatrician that lists all the vaccines in the back. Counting them up between the second month and 24 months there are 11 vaccines given. Counting quickly I came up with 27 vaccines now given between birth and 24 months according to the CDC's chart.
I'm trying to come up with something else good for you but am drawing a blank so I'll have to leave you with that.
